Our story began in 1994, when CANOVA® established itself in the dermatological-aesthetic world with a line of professional products for use in clinics and at home to maintain the health and beauty of the skin.
CANOVA® was founded with the launch of innovative chemical peels – based on acids selected for specific treatments – which marked a turning point, quickly leading the brand to become the leader in Italy in the field of professional dermatological treatments.
Over time, CANOVA® expertise has led the brand towards a more medical positioning and today it focuses on offering doctors solutions for the main skin diseases or imperfections.

The name CANOVA® is inspired by the famous neoclassical sculptor Antonio Canova and his work Amore e Psiche (Cupid and Psyche), a symbol of perfection, balance and timeless beauty.
Just as the artist was able to sculpt marble to resemble human skin, we too work every day to offer formulations capable of awakening the skin's authentic beauty through the power of science.
